Thermal simulation test and Fire Hazard test

 

Thermal testing allows to evaluate the ability of equipment or materials to resist high thermal stresses and to demonstrate, where appropriate, their ability to perform after being exposed to extremely hot air flows or even fires.
We can simulate the associated environments:

  • to the exhaust or contact areas of engines or turbines,
  • to the exposure of fuel or oil slick fires (FIRE HAZARD)

We have thermal means to simulate these environments:

Thermal ovens up to 1300 °C
Hot air generator up to 800°C without airflow or 600°C with airflow
Special burners or controlled burner benches

We have means of investigation to analyse the answers of the tested systems to these stresses:

  • Flux meters to determine the power of heat flows
  • Temperature probes
  • Thermal cameras
  • High precision laser pyrometers

    Theatrical Smoke testing

    Environmental testing in a saturated smoke atmosphere allows to assess the ability of equipment or materials to maintain their function or identification. We are equipped with COLT 4 and VICOUNT 1300 type machines.

    Abrasion, erosion or perforation testing

    We develop or carry out abrasion, erosion or perforation tests according to customer specified requirements. Tests according to ISO 6772, AITM 1.0027, NF G 37-115 standards
